Of course, the question on everyone’s mind is, “why did Uezu San drop Aisho?” Strangely enough, he didn’t explain why. So all explanations are only conjecture. One of the basic truths I have learned is; love does not try to change a person, but rather accepts this person as he or she is. And so it is that when he announced he was letting go of our combined work, I searched in my heart, and found only gratitude for what we had shared. I wrote a poem and read it to him.

We then did our last healing circle together which was deeper than ever. Afterwards, people were commenting how deeply touched they were by the healing, and Uezu San commented, “It is the combination of yin and yang which makes it so powerful. This transformation will be with you forever.” When he was leaving, I wept in his arms. And that was it. Below, I offer the poem I wrote for him, and by so doing, I invite you to peek into my heart and soul.

Beloved
Lion of God
You are divinely wild
To be near you is to know heaven while on earth
Your voice echoes in the inner sanctum of my heart
Calling me to be Love, each moment
With your touch
You tune my instrument to the sound of the universe
And the strings of my soul vibrate in ecstasy

We have known the merging of sun and moon
And the delicate flower
Born of the union of East and West
We have tasted the nectar of working as one

What can I share with you of this retreat?

Silence.  A new found depth of meditation of being.

Love. Once again being shown that this is the fabric of my existence, of existence itself.

Death. Opening and releasing a little more of the ego’s clutching.

Union. My tears flowed freely all week, waves of the relief of returning home, a home I now see that I had never actually left, a home that it is impossible to leave, where could we possibly go that is away from the embrace of the divine?

Grace. Healings, held in the arms of two awakened masters.

Community. Being with the 60 or so participants each sharing this thirst for union with God.

Hospitality. The gifts so freely showered upon us by our open-hearted Norwegian friends.

Song. Raising our voices in poetry and praise.

Dance. Of course, where Sarita leads the party soon follows!

Vincent and I will be integrating these gifts for many months so rich was the experience of this retreat, I urge you all to taste the liberation offered through the presence of this unique combination of two awakened masters. In true Tantric style they embrace so many opposites in their teaching together.  Such a profound transmission of Shiva and Shakti, yin and yang, western woman and eastern man, classical solitude of meditation and Osho’s radical richness.

One of my favourite topics is male and female energy – particularly how both have become out of balance in our times. This is a really urgent subject and I see us at the threshold of great transformation. I am doing my best to help support a positive transformation for individuals, relationships and society. As well as my passion for Tantra, my work with Uezu-San on our Aisho retreats brings the perfect balance of male and female, sun and moon, which has been so lacking in our culture for so long.

Power of the goddess

In ancient times, the mother goddess was the focal point for worship. In some cultures, it was not known that the man played an important role in the creation of new life. This gave women a very powerful position.

Unfortunately, she abused her power, offering men in human sacrifice, asking for him to castrate himself in order to serve in her temples, and so on. Finally men got sick and tired of this and grabbed the reins of power. What followed has been 2000 years of men abusing their power, and suppressing women through myriad ways. The most prevalent ways were to suppress her powerful orgasms, and to blot out the ancestral memory of her inherent gift of intuition. She was burned at the stake as a witch because she practiced intuitive healing and she was kept enchained by ownership through marriage.

In the new dawn which we can begin to sense on the horizon, men and women need to learn to live together as complementary opposites, gods and goddesses who are custodians of earth’s resources rather than her rapist. Tantra offers master keys for helping men and women to find that place of resonant fusion where opposites meet and merge. One of the important keys is to help men and women to live their true nature.

When a woman is in her natural flow and man is in his pillar of consciousness, there will be magnetic attraction. The bottom line is, we should not expect men to be like women, nor women to be like men, but rather, learn to respect and even cultivate our differences. We can learn from each other yet not be consumed by the other.

Containing the contradictions

Shiva, the fire of awareness

The secret of a powerful man is that he is a pillar of consciousness who is able to contain all the contradictions of life and remain centred. This begins by him accepting his power and his vulnerability together in the same moment. He accepts his animal instinct as well as his intellectual refinement. He is thus able to hold a woman who is the very embodiment of contradictions. She is Shakti, containing all the varied and liquid forms of feminine nature. Ruled by the moon, she changes with the ebb and flow of the tides. Her orgasm catapults her beyond mind, into transcendent reality. The greatest gift for the man happens when he is able to be the pure fire of awareness, Shiva, holding Shakti as she lets go into multi orgasmic splendour.

The secret of a powerful woman is that she is fully alive to her loving, devotional, emotional and psychic abilities. She is fluid like water, and is therefore able to accept change easily. Going with the flow, is the way of yin. She craves nothing so much as finding a man, or a god to whom she may abandon herself to in fullest surrender. Letting go and being possessed by the divine masculine is her deepest ecstasy. She is able to let go, because her throne is the heart, the seat of love. And every woman knows deep down, that God is love, and that love is God. Since the very essence of divinity finds its abode in her heart, she can afford to be sweet, giving and nurturing.

Now imagine for a moment what an amazing world we would be living in, if men and women lived their true opposite and yet complementary natures, with integrity. Imagine a politician who was in touch with his vulnerable inner child, while at the same time was able to remain rooted in his pillar of consciousness, nourished by deep meditation. Imagine a politician who was able to offer his beloved a night of multi orgasmic union, and was then able to give a speech to the nation on the necessity of caring for the earth as we would care for our own mother. He is both strong, and vulnerable, and this is what makes him eminently attractive. He has learned the art of loving a woman and this has ignited the desire to love and care for his country.

And imagine, how it would be, if a radiantly loving multi orgasmic woman were to work in a corporate setting, and had the power to run it her way. Her office is full of plants and flowers, she offers holistic healing to her workers, and her company has the feeling of a loving family. All her customers are encouraged to love and nurture themselves and she has a unique system of profit sharing and a clear intention to give back to the earth whatever has been borrowed. The building she works in has been designed to honour the undulating contours of nature, and is ecological and self sustaining.

Our deeper potentials

In our present time, it is unfortunate that men have forgotten their deeper potential. They tend to be either at the extreme of testosterone, going amok on a power crazed rape of the earth and her resources, or in the opposite extreme of feeling so deeply apologetic for being men that they become effeminate and cut off from their masculine resources. And women, ahh, sisters, how sad it is to see you turning your back on feminine grace and trying in vain to compete with men by acquiring masculine qualities! You will be able to help yourselves and the world much more, by opening up your true feminine glory. The Goddess is back, and this time, she seeks balance of the sexes. Like two banks of a river, we appear separate, and yet in the middle of the river of life, we meet, and experience being one in essence. How rich is the union of opposites!

I see the future as that of love, joy and celebration. I sense that in the new dawn of humanity, Tantra will find its true place, offering as it does the alchemy for the meeting of sex, love and spirit. When our animal nature is recognized as divine, and when our spirituality is fully embodied, we will then know the fullness of our potential. We will discover wholeness, and healing. We will realize God as male and female in perfect union.

I have heard that it is important to unwind and dissolve karma. Please tell me how karma gets created in the first place? I would like to know how to avoid creating new karma.

Ahhh, this is a red hot subject as it points the finger into every aspect of our lives. In essence, karma is any action or expression which is not completed. In a sense it is like constipation. The digestive process was started and got stuck somewhere before it could come to its full conclusion. This leaves the person feeling bunged up, stagnant and sluggish. In order to illustrate the subject of karma in relation to past lives I like to use the following as an example:

Mr X has a house. He is an avid consumer and within several years he has filled his house to the top with things of all kinds. Because there are so many things, it is hard to clean the house and so eventually it becomes very dirty. He is not willing to throw anything away, but rather hoards everything. Finally the situation becomes unbearable, so he moves out of that house, and moves into a brand new house. He simply walks away, leaving the old house as it is. As he has not transformed his outlook, he then begins filling up his new house, up, up to the brim it goes, and he then moves out into yet another new house. And so it goes. Finally, when he has filled up many houses and walked away from them, he realizes this cannot go on. He makes a promise to himself that he is going to devote himself to cleaning each and every house from top to bottom. Of course, this is not a very pleasant task, and he must apply himself rigorously in order to get the job done.

The above story illustrates how karma accumulates from life to life. When someone steps onto the path of personal development, meditation and healing, usually they have made a pact with themselves in the space in between lives that the next life will be devoted to cleaning up all the karma. There is a certain reluctance for the task at hand, and yet an inner knowing that there is nothing more important than this. Because there is a willingness to clean the karma, existence will often support this by putting techniques and people on our path which will support us in this endeavour. We just need to be open to this and ready and willing to ‘go for it!’ It is my understanding that if you really go for it you can clean up even very stubborn karma within the space of about 7 years. Some excellent ways to achieve this are:  Colour Light Therapy, the Transmitter Relays series, Hypnosis Regression, a Family Constellation, Aisho Retreats, Vipassana and Satori Retreats.

I am going to give a very simple story of how karma gets created and how this remains in the body as a ‘body memory.’ I had a Japanese woman for treatment who had pain in her back. There was a knot in a particular place related to the kidneys. I worked on the knot and while doing so asked her to enter inside the area with her awareness and let me know if there was a memory being held there. She remembered driving in the car with her boyfriend. It was raining very hard and he was driving too fast. She was afraid. I asked her to speak, and to say what she couldn’t express at that time. Being Japanese, she was very polite, and said the equivalent of: “Kind sir, it is raining very hard and I beg of you to please slow down. Sorry to impose my thoughts on you.” The hard knot in her back remained solid and painful. I asked her to keep going, finding out what she truly wanted to say then but didn’t. She tried many times to come up with her true thoughts and feelings from that time without success. Finally, the dam burst and she simply blurted out: “It’s raining very hard! Slow down, you asshole!” The moment she said, “you asshole!” the hard knot in her back dissolved and the pain vanished. You see, this was what she really wanted to say, but didn’t. It had remained as an incomplete issue retained in her physical body as a hard ‘karmic’ knot.

Of course, it is possible to express our truth in the moment without needing to say unkind words. But it is essential, if we are angry, to find a way to release it rather than repressing it. The same goes for any of our emotions. Unexpressed emotions, whether they be positive or negative, is one of the most common ways to create karma. Basically, not going for our truth, no matter what that is, will be karma creating. Personal truth is connected to our deep soul calling. We all came in with a purpose. If you don’t live what you came to live, it creates stagnation in the flow of your life force energy. The more we meditate, the more conscious we will become of our soul calling. We learn to dissolve old karmic patterns and to live in such a transparent way that we don’t create new patterns.

If you want to see your karma, usually you have to go no further than your own house. Our houses are mirrors of our body and mind. They way you keep your house indicates a great deal about your inner world. For this reason, a good way of beginning karma clearing is to bring in someone who does de-cluttering, who will help you become clear physically and emotionally in regards to your inner and outer space. For this work, I highly recommend Prasthano. As you go through the de-cluttering process, you will become aware of how attached you are to being stuffed up with things. A clear and empty space may create nervous tension. This is because you are stuffed up inside with emotional baggage and incomplete life issues. When you begin karma clearing from the house angle, it will make you very aware of how much you are carrying and how difficult it is to let go. But as you finally do let go, you will realize the great relief this brings, both inner and outer. Feng Shui was developed as science for creating a new pristine inner state through the outer organization of your home or office. This is simply to illustrate that you can approach the subject of karma from a very basic physical angle, or from a more esoteric angle. Both approaches will lead to the same result, a sense of cleanliness, purity and flow, as well as being in tune with your own soul.  Buddha has spoken about a non-karma creating lifestyle as having the following attributes:

1) Right thought

2) Right speech

3) Right action

4) Right livelihood

In essence, all of this is to say, if you can live your life in such a way that you are in surrender to your soul and your soul is in tune with your spirit, then all will be well. The state of wholeness is when body, mind, soul and spirit are all in tune, dancing to the same cosmic rhythm.

Aisho Retreat:  Mahabaleshwar, India

With Uzeu-San and Sarita

Three months before the retreat started, I wrote an email to Sarita saying that I couldn’t afford to come as I didn’t have enough money to cover the costs. I received an answer few days later: “To me, money is energy, so, I read that you don’t have enough energy to come….Is that the case?”

It suddenly occurred to me that, yes, I had plenty of energy and good will to be part of that retreat and money couldn’t be a valid reason not to be there. Although my mind was trying to convince me that my finances were too low, something in me decided to Trust and move accordingly…

The retreat started on 3 February. We were 60 people from 11 different countries. In my position as DJ I had organised all my music selection and felt very fortunate to be sitting right beside master Uezu-San. Just like the previous retreat in France, the quality of silence that I experienced defies any description. Perhaps, even more so this time as I could feel his physical presence so close to my body.

There was, however, one thing that my mind was busy with, a chronic bronchitis that had started three months before. I was still coughing a lot of mucus, and my chest was congested, which made it hard to breathe fully.

One afternoon, as participants were having a pause, Master Uezu-San placed his hands on my chest, exactly in the area where I was having trouble breathing. After a short time, I started to feel heat and a very unusual sensation, as if all of my mucus, was being sucked away by his hands.  When he removed his hands, I immediately coughed, sneezed, and blew my nose, releasing all the mucus left in my body. I could breathe again, it really felt like a re-birth and the bronchitis hasn’t returned to this day.

During the retreat, we had various sessions, all very powerful and healing. Besides the usual “Dhamma Ball” and “Heart Chakra” meditations, we also had wonderful “live music” events led by Shivananda, a Bhajan and Heart songs master…I found those musical gatherings so special in bringing participants together in playfulness and simplicity.

Also, very much loved and appreciated was the walk to the top of the cliffs, a short distance from the resort. We gathered there a couple of times at dawn, in silence as the sun was rising. What a stunning sight! One participant later shared he had a profound experience, known as “Satori” or glimpse of the “No-Mind” state, dissolving for a moment in universal consciousness…

Then, we were all blessed with sacred moments like “Shaktipat” which traditionally refers to offering all our suffering and misery to the master who Himself transforms it and releases it back to us in the form of universal, unconditional love…In this case, both Sarita and Uezu-San were offering Shaktipat. To me, they symbolised in a very real way the embodiment of pure Yin and Yang energy, dancing in unison, in unwavering balance.

Another powerful moment was the “Energy Darshan” where participants received a direct transmission from both Sarita and Uezu-San. A special Aisho balm was created, carrying Uezu-San and Sarita’s blessing. Uezu-San spiralled around the third eye (or Ajna chakra) whereas Sarita was stroking upward from the third eye in a vertical motion. It was obvious that everyone was profoundly touched by this unique transmission. The impact was awesome. I was witnessing Sarita and Uezu-San as two empty beings, channelling Divine Source Energy.

Perhaps it is because the retreat was being held in India that the whole group could so easily receive this immense energetic offering – India is well known to carry the fragrance of mysticism and spiritual experiences of all kinds. Or perhaps it is the ability of Sarita and Uezu-San to “channel” any past masters that have lived and contributed to expand people’s consciousness.  The energy field created during that retreat was incredibly vibrant, full of love, compassion, dance and laughter…Full…Yet one could also experience the deep Void, the vast emptiness, the magnificent stillness in moments of silence. I believe those moments have nurtured all of us participants to the very core of our hearts and spirits…

I am so grateful that I found in Sarita and Uezu-San, the masters that I have been longing for, perhaps, for lives altogether…Or shall I say, I am so grateful that they finally found me!…

This retreat was, for me, a rare opportunity to experience the unconditional love, total understanding and immense compassion of two individuals who have come to realise who they are, in the deepest sense…It was a rare blend of humour, devotion, godliness, silence and meditation. It was a unique combination of two different flavours, giving us the most exquisite, divine taste of how life can be lived in constant celebration.

Aisho was much more than a week long retreat. It was the manifestation of all the wisdom that has ever existed on Earth and still vibrates today. The wisdom of the East and the wisdom of the West. The wisdom of Male principle and the wisdom of Feminine energy.

Many people have been transformed coming into contact with Sarita and Uezu-San…I see the Aisho project being another dawn of a wider, collective awakening that the Earth, and we human beings have been longing for…

Now, circumstances are provoking me to come out of the closet.

It is time for my secret to be revealed.

As with all revelations, there is a multifaceted story behind it. In the telling of this story, I bare heart and soul.

My friend Champaka, who together with his wife Ramya, guides the Sacred Japan Tour, has introduced me to two rare and unique enlightened beings, Kohrogi Sensei and Uezusan. I have studied with, hung out with, and adored Kohrogi Sensei for the past 16 years. And I met Uezusan 3 years ago on the first Sacred Japan Tour. Subsequently, I invited him to come and present his work for the first time in Europe. He came to Glastonbury in May 2009 where we did sacred sites touring and a meditation retreat. I love the direct simplicity of Uezusan’s approach, which centers on one method of meditation and one powerful message. His message is, “I am God. God is Love. You are God. Wake up to your true nature.” His method is called Dhamma Ball and is highly effective for opening the door to cosmic consciousness. I love to simply ‘be’ in his presence. He emits a perfume of transcendental wisdom, which is such a blessing to meditate with.

During his retreat in Glastonbury, he was moving around the room offering hands on healing to the roomful of people who were doing the Dhamma Ball Meditation. As he put his hands on my crown chakra, I disappeared as a self, moving through a portal into universal consciousness. Imagine the best orgasmic experience you have ever had, the greatest ecstasy, the most powerful love union. Now, magnify that about a thousand times through the whole body, with crown chakra dissolving into shooting stars, or the sun itself. All is light and love, pulsating ad infinitum. There is no time, no mind. Infinity is revealed as ever present. As this was happening, Uezusan announced loudly to the whole room, “God is now entering Sarita. She is one with universal consciousness.”

He then asked for the microphone to be placed in front of my mouth and requested me to speak. I felt like a virgin being asked to describe her first lovemaking experience as it was happening. It was beyond shocking to find my words echoing out into the crowded room. “All is light. Only Godliness is. Love is our very nature.”

After this, during questions and answers in the group, Uezusan was speaking about his enlightenment, and was careful to mention me in the same breath, as inhabiting the same space. When the group finished, my body went into chaos and became very sick with high fever. It took time to integrate the Glastonbury event. I was very busy with work, and was finally able to rest and recharge in the first two weeks of September. During this period I received an invitation to co-teach groups with Uezusan in 2010. I felt very honored to be invited to work alongside this great master and said “yes!” In my meditation I feel in deep psychic communion with him on an ongoing basis.

In early November, I went to France to take part in Uezusan’s Meditation Retreat. During this retreat, he went on showering me with his love and appreciation. He said, “I am Sarita and Sarita is me; we are one.”  He gave a long talk on the benefits of our combined teaching presence, as it is an experiment, which is happening for the first time, two enlightened people teaching together, a man and a woman, joining east and west, yin and yang. Uezusan and I spoke at length, through Champaka as translator, and he let me know that he would like to teach with me on a regular basis. He said he knew the first time we met that this would happen, that it was only a matter of time. When I am with him, I melt into a devotional way of being, which feels so delicious. His yang element is very powerful, and this becomes the perfect balance for my divine feminine nature.

And so, I find my life spinning into metamorphosis. Uezusan and I come from different backgrounds, and like two musicians playing different instruments, our combined presence creates magical music. I believe Uezusan is extremely courageous to merge his work with a Tantra teacher. As we all know, there are a lot of misconceptions, which abound in the world, regarding the path of Tantra. He appears to care more for truth, and less about his reputation, as he throws himself into this wild river of bliss. And I, in an ecstasy of abandon, find myself living in a world of ever expanding light and love, savoring his divine presence.

As one body can only do so much in our world of time and space, it looks like I will be sharing more of my Tantra work with my ‘dream team’ of Tantra Teachers who have worked with me over the last few years. This will take a clearer form from 2011. As my work with Uezusan increases, my presence in Tantra groups will become more rare, and therefore, something to be treasured. I adore the Tantra work and wish to keep nurturing this exquisite flowering.

With Uezusan, my contribution will be to offer ways of experiencing meditation in everyday life. This means essentially, meditation as a tool to bring transformation to body, mind, emotions and senses. I believe we will be able to touch and transform many more people through our combined presence. It is in fact, nothing short of a miracle to work together like this. We are calling our work Aisho, which means, ‘radiant love.’ I imagine I will be seeing many friends I know, as well as many new friends at Aisho events. We can have a good laugh together, and enjoy mysterious Leela, the Divine Play.

In the last group with Uezusan, some people were feeling confused about whether they should hug me, or namaste me. I started laughing, seeing this dilemma. Just to set the record straight, I still love to hug! Not only that, I still love to tell jokes! And guess what? I still love to cook fabulous meals and to watch funny movies!  In short, I enjoy ordinary and grounded enlightenment. If you see me floating up to heaven, please pull my feet to bring me back to earth. I am a lover of life. It is my sacrament to honor and worship this earth, this body, this moment.
