If you want to keep up with what it happening at the School of Awakening you can sign up for our RSS feed here. If you need to know more about RSS, please read this short introduction:
Instead of having friends or companies send their updates to you as an email, you can now subscribe to an RSS feed (usually marked by the orange logo). All the feeds (updates made on websites or blogs) can then be seen in one place: on an RSS reader. Very popular is the free Google Reader.
Whenever we see an RSS logo (or link) on an interesting website or a blog we can click on it and save the address into our reader. With Internet Explorer we need to right-click and save the URL and enter it manually into Google Reader by clicking on “Add a subscription” – in Firefox it goes straight to the right place.
This is just the basics and the video which follows is also fun but if you wish to get a more in-depth knowledge please visit this very detailed page about RSS feeds on the BBC News website.
Thanks for this, Punya. At last the mystery of RSS is unveiled! It makes life much easier having all your favourite blog posts in one place and knowing whenever there has been a new post.
RSS Feeds are really very helpful and you could get site and news updates from it.*-:
